Vedrai, vedrai - Mi sono innamorato di te, for piano [Digital Sheet Music]
Vedrai, vedrai - Mi sono innamorato di te (music by Luigi Tenco – piano version by Ilio Barontini) is taken from The Golden Age Italian Songs.
About the collection
The Golden Age Italian Songs is a collection of piano versions by Ilio Barontini aiming to recreate Italian tunes that have left their mark in the collective imagination – twenty-one pearls by authors and singers like Umberto Bindi, Don Backy, Luigi Tenco, Sergio Endrigo, Jimmy Fontana, Dino, Giorgio Gaber, Domenico Modugno, Gino Paoli, and Lucio Battisti.
Ilio Barontini's piano versions make a short circuit between two worlds, popular song and classical piano. In addition to the classical-romantic dimension of this piano style, there are original, creative choices like the insertion of intros and linking sections or the presence of medleys to recreate a complete image of the various artistic personalities (e.g: Luigi Tenco "Vedrai, vedrai - Mi sono innamorato di te", Giorgio Gaber "Non arrossire - La libertà", Gino Paoli "Il cielo in una stanza - Sapore di sale", Domenico Modugno "Tu si' na cosa grande - Resta cu'mme - Meraviglioso - Un uomo in frack - Nel blu dipinto di blu"). Also the final track offers two themes by Nicola Piovani, taken from the soundtrack of "La vita è bella".
